The machine would start OK and test mode was working Ok. The machine would do a ball search and fire all solenoids one after another. The mist ball was not working.

Carried out the SWITCH test and found 2 Rows not registering. Also secondary flashers were not working. This is what I found after checking all switches.

Both these switches display both switches when one switch activated.


This is the final test I did to determine if a Board problem.



MPU and DRIVER BOARD sent out to be checked.

The MPU , DRIVER and the 10 OPTO BOARDS were sent away for testing and repair. The original MPU board was beyond repair and a excellent 2nd hand MPU board was purchased and fitted , came with a Lithium Battery on the MPU board.

DRIVER BOARD REPAIRS / PARTS

• 1 x 15000uf cap
• 1 x bridge rectifier
• 1 x 470uf cap
• 1 x 100uf cap
• 1 x 5 pin locking header
• 3 x slo-blo fuses and 1 x normal fuse

Also repaired blown trace to the J104 connector, Re-soldered GI connectors and removed fuses and re-tensioned the clips.

The 3 x lm339 chips/sockets and the 100uf cap were replacecd on the OPTO 10 BOARD as well as header pins re-soldered.
