Bazaar Restoration - Playfield
Purchased machine off ebay then drove to Newcastle in my Mitsubishi Mirage to pickup the machine.
Probably rate the playfield 6 out of 10 - consistent with the age of the machine. No broken plastics except usual paint fade due to the age, had 1 metal and 1 plastic flipper, Apron rusty and chrome parts a little rusty. My aim was to replace all light bulbs and sockets, all plastic lane guides, bumper bodies and caps and all rubbers. And replace both flippers with the original.
Later on, I managed to locate another playfield from Qld. It had been in storage for many years and was covered in mould. This is how it originally looked.
After removing the dust and mould, a good clean up with
NOVUS 2 and a final wax using
CARNAUBA WAX.. The playfield came up, I think, a 9 out of 10. Plastics were in excellent condition and cleaned up well as well as the original Posts and Lane Guides. Only problem I had was that all the post and plastics screws snapped off on removal, Full details on how I removed the broken screws can be found at

Tips and Information page.
All Bumper Caps and Bodies, Bulbs and Sockets were replaced as well as all Rubbers and Flippers. This is how the playfield came up.
