RACING SIMULATOR - PVC
Finally finished my first attempt at building a racing sim rig using PVC pipe . Using
SIMUL8R's original design, I made a few small design changes.
Mainly wider to accomodate the seat size and slightly shorter because of limited space.
PVC pipe used - 50mm Class 12 High Pressure pipe. As it was difficult to glue some sections (Glue sets in 5 sec) drilled and screwed most sections, this was an advantage as i can disassemble a lot easier if required to move the unit.
MDF boards were secured by Kinetic 50mm Press Pipe Saddle Clips - 10 Pack
Purchased a seat from the local car wrecking yard, pulled one out of a Mazda 323, quite comfortable with recliner, forward and back and height adjuster.
